I'm going to make this quick as I've said everything I can possibly say about this eternal Halloween TV classic (do a search for "Charlie Brown" on this site and you'll see). It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown airs TONIGHT, Thursday, October 27th at 8pm PT/ET.
It'll be followed by the not-Halloween-related You're Not Elected Charlie Brown to fill out the hour.
Seriously, ABC, we can't air ANYTHING else Halloween special-y after Great Pumpkin?Garfield? Rankin Bass's Jack o' Lantern? Fat Albert?
Witch's Night Out?
ANYTHING?!
But I digress.
I know we all have it on DVD, Blu-Ray and can watch it streaming on 100 different on-line portals but support the 45th Anniversary (FORTY-FIVE YEARS!) airing of this classic by tuning in tonight.
Spinning CBS logo not included.

Argh! I seem to miss it every year! Despite my everlasting love for The Great Pumpkin, I actually do not own it on DVD, however, I did see that walmart had it on sale for like $10, so I may have to pick up a copy so I can watch it again this season.
I had watched it on DVD Wednesday night as I carved my pumpkin, but I did catch the tail end of it on TV last night. There were a few seconds in there without any annoying graphics in the corner of the screen or scrolling across the bottom. If only they had the old Mounds/Almond Joy or Peppermint Patty commericals! Thanks for your blog.
