Baskin Robbins 2011 Halloween Flavor

I'm attempting to keep tabs on any major company's Halloween tie-in this year, figuring if Halloween Addicts show support and get the word out there, more people will buy the products and thusly they'll continue to DO Halloween tie-ins. 
So Baskin... Robbins... this one's for you.

Baskin-Robbins' Flavor-of-the-Month for October is --drum roll--  "Trick-OREO-Treat."
First of all:  nice name.  No sarcasm there.  That's genuine.  Really.

I'm sure in the hours-long spitballing-names-meeting that inevitably occurred in the BR offices, with pencils being thrown into the ceiling and mountains of take-out containers piled on the conference room table... either I'm really close on this one or I watch too many movies... that "Trick-OREO-Treat" made a lot of overtired people giggle and thus became the name.

Bravo.  It does exactly what an ice-cream name is supposed to do:  Celebrates Halloween and gives an indication of what's in the flavor itself.

And when I tell you what's IN the flavor, you'll further see the name's brilliance:  vanilla ice cream packed with Halloween OREO cookies, BABY RUTH candy bar pieces and Butterfinger candy pieces.

See?  Brilliant.  Halloween OREOs bring in the bright orange color that the holiday is known for, plus two trick-or-treater gold-standard candy bars:  Baby Ruth and Butterfingers.  It's all wrapped up in vanilla which doesn't overpower the flavors of the cookies and candy yet still adds a ghostly white to the look of the scoop.
It's an art I tell ya, a Gee-Darned ART.

Most importantly:  during the month of October, for every scoop of Baskin-Robbins’ October Flavor of the Month “Trick-OREO-Treat” ice cream sold, one meal will be donated to Feeding America.
