Spooky World Estate Auction

Got this little tip from the Twitterverse:

Consignworks is auctioning off the personal entertainment collection of David Bertolino, the creator of the famous New England horror theme park:  Spooky World.

And what a collection it is.

Just scrolling through the photos on SpookyWorldEstateSale.com there is vintage Spooky World Signage, vintage horror movie posters, props, masks, horror novelties and more.

In addition to huge collections of action figures, furniture, classic video games and pinball machines, comics, magazines etc. etc. etc.

Some of the items border on "Rummage Sale" quality but there are some diamonds in the rough like this crow statue (see pic left) autographed by Tippi Hedren (Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds)!

Take a look HERE at SpookyWorldEstateSale.com to get an idea of the sheer volume of things that are available.

Unfortunately it looks like you have to be there to get in on the auction, so plan your trip to Sudbury, MA this coming Columbus Day weekend... and don't forget your wallet.

Aww... Too bad this isn't an online auction! I would love to get my hands on that Tippi Hedren signed bird! I wonder how much it will go for...
