Got a boo boo on Halloween? (Jeez... the puns...)
How about wrapping it in the visage of the undead--- and one lycanthrope?
On the heels of the "Boo Boo Bandages" I posted about back in March, these are "Monster Bandages" from PerpetualKid.com.
Whereas the Boo Boo Bandages were more Halloween symbols, this tin contains the "big 4" of Golden Age monsters: Frankenstein's monster, werewolf, mummy and vampire.
And speaking of the tin, check out the artwork on it!
It's something Vincent Price and EC Comics would be proud of complete with full moon, bats, haunted castle and a bolt of lightning all done a sickly green hue.
And they're bandages IN A TIN! You don't see bandages in an old-fashioned tin anymore.
Plus, when the bandages are gone, you can use that tin for any number of Lifehacker projects (it looks way cooler than an Altoids tin).
Though I don't think they're cool enough to give out as treats (you don't want kids thinking they're chocolate band-aids), they would make a great addition to a Halloween care package or Halloween grab bag.
Dwelling on the second line of this post for a minute: Really, the Universal Monsters are just various zombies.
Think about it:
Frankenstein--- zombie made from corpses.
Dracula--- zombie (hey, he's "undead" right?) who just wants blood, not brains or flesh.
Mummy--- really just a 'gift-wrapped' zombie.
And then there's a Werewolf. Which might be why I've always liked the Werewolf best.
He's different. He's the leader of the pack. (Ugh, another pun.)
Now if you'll excuse me I have to go wash myself. Two puns in one post.
-shudder-
