The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXII Info...

Got this tip from the horror news website DreadCentral.com:

A couple info tidbits about this year's Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXII (22?  Really?  22 Halloween episodes???  That has to be some kind of record...):

1)  This year's episode will have a Dexter parody featuring none other than Ned Flanders in the serial killer with a code role.  But that's not all, the parody of the show opening is now on-line for all to see.
Check it out by clicking HERE.

2)  Treehouse of Horror XXII will actually air BEFORE Halloween this year!
That's right, the special is reported to air on October 30th!

I don't know how I feel about that, as I had gotten used to the episode airing the week AFTER Halloween due to baseball.  Sure, November isn't Halloween-season anymore, but knowing a new Treehouse was coming allowed me to postpone my Halloween depression for one more week.

I had to look it up but, I knew that one year they showed 'Treehouse' in October, and it was WAY earlier than usual. It was 2009, and the air date was October 18! I remembered because I found out AFTER it had aired, but luckily I was able to view it on HULU.
Look forward to watching 'Treehouse of Horror' every year, no matter when it comes on. Just as long as I know when, it's coming on!

Oh that is different that it's being aired before Halloween! It's fun to see that other people are thinking about the Simpsons Halloween Special too. :) It's something I've looked forward to every year for a long time now!
