Sometimes it's hard to exercise. You know you should do it... you know it's good for you... but you're lacking motivation.
Ok, how about a 10k or 5k trek through an eerily silent valley, supposedly haunted by 200 year old ghosts of settlers past... at night?
Well that's what you're getting at the Saucony Trek or Treat Night Trail run: Canada's first ever.
There are three choices: a 10k, 5k and a "Creepy Mile" which I believe is decorated with Halloween spookiness.
There's a free pumpkin for the first 100 to register, free Saucony sneakers for Best Costume, and jack o' lantern markers along the trail.
Not enough?
Well our old friends at HalloWindow are sponsoring the race which means spooky projections to look at on your trek.
What more could an athletic Halloween Addict want?
How about ACTUAL GHOSTS?
Read about the legend HERE featuring coffins washed up along the creek and orbs of light through the trees.
Can't read?
Well there's a video too.
It'll certainly get the blood going even before you leave the starting line.
If I lived in Canada, I'd certainly partake in such thing.
Mainly the only way to get ME to run a 10k... would be to scare me into running for my life.
