Doing some research for this post, however, I discovered that their wonderfully animated commercials actually embraced Halloween in 1978 (or is it '79... or '73? I can't quite see the copyright line in the YouTube vid) HERE). There the boys are, getting ready for Halloween trick or treating (they say so themselves) and after hawking the benefits of their individual cereals they enter to show off their cross-dressing matching outfits-- only to be frightened off by a wolf-whistling jack o' lantern. You can't get much more Halloween than THAT.
I've been a huge fan of the General Mills Monster Cereals since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. My favorite was Frankenberry as I thought it made the milk taste like Nestle's Strawberry Quik. Though Boo Berry was the one I always quested for, my local grocery store only carried Frankenberry and Count Chocula. I never got a chance to try Boo Berry until 1999 when I found a box at Gelsons Market in Los Angeles--fulfilling that childhood dream. My 8 year old self was proud that day.
But enough about my cereal dreams, ON TO THE CONTEST!

Monster Cereals are something that I look forward to every year. Once in ahwile, I can find Count Chocula in a local grocery store, but it's not the same unless it's mid-September. There's just something about buying the first box of the season that's...exciting.
Also, you got lucky. I didn't get to try Boo Berry until 4 years ago.

I've loved these cereals for as long as I can remember, but was rarely aloud to have them as a kid. I think I've consumed more in my adult life than anything. Here's to hoping I win em'!
Oh how I would love this limited edition. My halloween has been lame because of lack of money, and college students like me always need some breakfast to get their minds on the right track.
