Maybe it's not EXACTLY Halloween-related, but it's still noteworthy enough to mention in my book.
Bill "Petter Venkman" Murray's BIRTHDAY is TODAY.
He is 60 years old.
Sixty.
BILL MURRAY IS SIXTY!
Holy crap.
How did that happen?
Time, man. It's a real downer, sometimes.
So take a second to appreciate one of the great comic actors of our time by watching Ghostbusters, Ed Wood, Ghostbusters 2, or playing Ghostbusters The Video Game.
SEMI-SPOILER ALERT: And without spoiling anything for those who still haven't seen it (what are ya doin'?), please check out Zombieland for an excellent Bill Murray reference.

Oh man, I feel old. Love Murray and so many of his films, from scene-stealing supporting bits in films like ED WOOD to carrying movies like STRIPES. Awesome. I was really pleasant surprised that they got him to reprise Venkman in the GHOSTBUSTERS video game and his inclusion as well the other 2 was certainly swayed me to get the game if only to be able interact with these iconic characters.
J.D.: I hear ya. Nothing makes you feel older than your childhood heroes--getting older.
The Ghostbusters game is a good time if it is only an "ok" game. For big fans of the movies, its fun for the simple fact that you get to hear the original actors reprising their roles one more time (don't hold your breath for Ghostbusters 3).
Agreed. YEah, the game is essentially the sequel and I believe Aykroyd has said as much. The gameplay is decent but it really is a love letter to the fans, for sure.
