I found this site thanks to the wonderful blog Geektarded and knew immediately I would like the products from this company.Why?
Because they have a jack o' lantern in their logo and their site is called OctoberToys.com.
I mean c'mon. How can a Halloween Addict NOT like it?
Still not convinced how awesome October Toys are? Well here are my two favorite products:
1) Z.O.M.B.I.E.s:An acronym technically standing for "Zillions of mutating bodies infecting everyone." Nice job. How fun was it to come up with that?
What they are: Plastic zombies in-scale with army men so you can pit your favorite rifleman, mortar guy and bazooka guy against a wave of the undead. Just protect that mine sweeper guy! He's going to get his brains eaten with no weapon and headphones on!
As if that's not enough they come in 4 colors: mutated Toxic Avenger-like green, pale Dawn of the Dead-like blue, ghostly white and glow-in-the-dark.
I think we all know which set I'll be buying. That's right. And why? "Because glow in the dark stuff rocks." That's right.
2) Gwins:Take a Linux "Tux" mascot-like penguin and paint it to look like a giant black squid devouring an orange scary jack 0' lantern. I say: yes please. More please.
On top of that it was designed by effects maven/artist "Voltaire." How cool is THAT?
