On the one hand... glowing beverages you can drink are AWESOME. They provide mood, fun, light and they don't water down your drink.
On the other hand, you have a cold chunk of plastic floating in your glass: intrusive, clunky and you can't just throw them on the lawn to dissolve in the night.
Still, you can use them for more than just lighting up your libations. Just look at how cool they look perched on a spooky black tea-light tree sculpture.

I could see how it would be cumbersome in a glass, but in a punchbowl or giant cauldron being used to keep bottles cold (I often use my cauldrons as coolers), they would be really great.
I agree. And don't forget the dry ice for smoky goodness.
