Dropping today is the 2 Disc DVD documentary "His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th." As someone who really enjoyed the hardcover tome "Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th," this seems to be the truncated, watchable version of that book. You know... for people who can't read.
I'm very excited to check out this set as every other horror site has said it's a good primer for those who've never seen the films and a fun watch for those who know all the stories already.
Here's the formal, product overview from Amazon:
Jason Voorhees has carved his place into American pop culture and is one of the most recognizable cinematic killers in horror history. Now nearly, 30 years later, see how it all happened! Shut off the lights, lock up the cabin and get ready to learn all about a boy... His Name Was Jason.
