Rob Zombie to Return for Halloween Remake Sequel "H2"

Well even though he said he wouldn't do it. He's doing it.

According to today's Variety, Rob Zombie has signed on to direct the sequel to the remake of Halloween. It seems they're simply calling it "H2"... which is good because I don't need all kinds of vowels and other consonants slowing me down. I'm looking for movie titles I can text easily. As in "OMG. lets go c H2 2nite :)"

Though I didn't love his re-imagining (see that post HERE) I certainly will give him another shot.
Why?
Because he's a man with a vision, and whether I agree with his choices or not, he has a point of view and a style that's been developing with each film he does.

RETRO UPDATE:
Tim Sullivan from IconsofFright.com did a great interview with Rob about the film and his plans for it. Check it out HERE.

Halloween Christmas Music Podcast

If you think finding Halloween music is tough, try finding Halloween CHRISTMAS music.
Wait... done.
Well that was easy.
I mean, it was easy for me but who knows how hard it was for the Twelve Months of Christmas blog.
They have a post with an MP3 podcast of various Halloween Christmas songs! Woo hoo!

So go get your spook on while wearing a Santa hat while eating your Christmas Nerds with your eyes closed and pretending they're Spooky Nerds.
What?
Just me doin' that?
Hm...

DIY: Christmas Halloween Stocking Project

More Christmas-ween!
What is Christmasween?
Well let's just say it's a made up word to describe how to put a little more Halloween in your Christmas.

The craft-tastic blog Cottage Way of Life has a do it yourself how-to on making your own Halloween stocking. Sure, blogger Sue had intended it as a Halloween decoration and project, but the word "stocking" hits me as a Christmas thing. Again, it's just a little way of injecting some black and orange in your red and green holiday.

Check out the instructions: HERE.

DIY - Frosted Halloween Ornaments

It's the holidays and, if you're like me, when you're not busy with the parties, the shopping and the decorating you want a little something to keep you busy and keep your mind off things for a while.

Well whether or not you've got a Halloween tree, or just want to put a subtle Halloween nod to your favorite holiday in amongst the red and green, how about a do-it-yourself frosted jack o' lantern Christmas ornament?

Doesn't look too hard and it uses some magical ointment called "Etching Cream."

Click over to bhg.com (yes, that's right: Better Homes and Gardens) for step by step instructions on making your own frosted globe o' goodness.
