More Costume t-shirts...

As I mentioned in the past, if you're going to go to a Halloween party: wear a costume.
If you can't get your crap together at least wear an ironic costume t-shirt. Stylinonline.com has a bunch ranging from Iron Man, to the bulging pecs of the Hulk, to generic school girl baby tee.

Plan your laziness in advance! Order now before the October rush!

Room Design and Decoration: Hitchcock's Psycho Theme Bathroom

I've always dreamed of having a Psycho-themed bathroom. Yes, that's right. Those are my dreams.
Though it's not for everyone, die hard (ha!) fans would have it year 'round while Halloween Addicts might just change up their bathroom for the season.
How would I do it? Well let me show you...

First I'd head to Target or Bed Bath and Beyond and pick up some blood red bathmats. Then, in the vein (ha!) of these Blood Pillows, trim the bath mats into a shape resembling a pool of spattered blood. Place them on the bathroom floor. Poof. A crime scene spatter that will need to be laundered from time to time.

Next, I'd swap out my towel hooks with these Knife Hooks from tc-studio.com. You don't have to put a towel on all of them. In fact empty ones make it look like there was a battle royale with Norman Bates in your bathroom.

As for towels, I could either splurge and get either THESE embroidered Bates Motel styles, or just go to my local Bed Bath and Beyond and buy some blood-red ones.

Lastly, for the piece de resistance: The shower curtain. You can go a couple of ways with this. Either you can have the silhouetted "Mad Mother" available at PrankPlace.com.

Or you can try a more gruesome Norman Bates-ey look with an item from ThingsYouNeverNewExisted.com.

Like the gore but don't need a visage? Try the "Gory Shower Curtain" available from various merchants on eBay.

For extra style points you could have an ashtray filled with vintage style motel keys sitting on the toilet tank. Available at babygirlboutique.com.

So there you go. One crime scene loo to entertain and thrill yourself and friends.

Costume Kudos - Iron Man Costume

Again as an appreciator of meticulous costume craftmanship, I gotta give kudos to the guy who made this Iron Man costume.

Summer blockbusters are always good indicators of the costumes that will show up at Halloween parties later that year. But with something like Iron Man, unless you're going ironically (red t-shirt with a tap light taped to the chest), you really need to put in the hours to get the suit looking right.
Which this gentlemen has done.

Check out his website called "My Disguises" HERE for more pics!
