Just found this on Oobject.com, this is their list of the top Halloween Nerd (or "Halloweenerd") costumes.
As someone who appreciates a well crafted homemade costume, I gotta tell ya: there's some great stuff on here.
My personal faves: the Aliens Powerloader costume and Shaun of the Dead Lego Mini-figure. Brilliant.
