Our first horror movie of October, 30 Days of Night, is released in theaters today.Based on the graphic novel written by Steve Niles, the book has a fantastic premise: 'What if vampires invaded a little town in Alaska where the sun doesn't rise for 30 consecutive nights?' It's one of the few comics I've read where, when I finished, I thought, "Huh. That'd make a great movie."
From the trailer, they're making it look like The Thing meets Near Dark.
Let's hope it's good...
